Avalon and Tahoe Manufacturing Inc. in Alma is well known for building some of the world’s most luxurious pontoon boats. While the plant has suspended all production, some employees have been volunteering their time to produce face masks, being distributed to local healthcare providers, first-responders, police and firefighters. According to the Morning Sun, so far, more than 2,000 masks have been produced.
