**DTE has confirmed that wind that’s generated by the Isabella Wind Farms will power the Detroit Zoo. It will assist the Detroit Zoo to transition to 100 percent renewable energy. The power will come from three new DTE Energy wind parks, including in Isabella County, scheduled to go online late next year.
