The Clare County Animal Shelter urges everyone to bring their dogs and cats indoors during the cold temps but, if you can’t, they are offering free straw to insulate your pet’s outside homes. The shelter also said if you absolutely cannot bring your pet in they will house it for free for the next two days and will return it to you.
