- Channing Tatum has filed to get an official custody schedule set up
- He’s laid out an evenly split schedule for himself and Jenna Dewan
- He thinks five-year-old Everly would “thrive even more with structure and consistency”
Channing Tatum wants to make things official when it comes to theshared custody of Everly, the five-year-old daughter he shares with his almost-ex Jenna Dewan. According to reports, Tatum says the kiddo is adjusting pretty well to their separation, but would “thrive even more with structure and consistency.”
According to The Blast, the actor has an evenly split schedule all laid out in court docs. He’s proposed that he gets of Everly on Mondays and Tuesdays, plus every other weekend, while Dewan would get her on Wednesdays and Thursdays and the alternate weekends. He’s also suggested how they can split up summer break, and holidays like Christmas, New Year’s and even Halloween.
On top of that, he wants both parents to be able to travel with Everly within the United States without getting the other’s consent – because they both have family members all throughout the States. But when it comes to international travel, they would both need to ask permission first. Sounds fair, sure…but there’s no word on Dewan’s response just yet.
- ONE MORE THING! On a related note, E! News is reporting that the former lovebirds are close to settling their divorce. They’re reportedly about to embark on a “case resolution conference,” which will help them expedite the process. Basically, either the couple or their lawyers will meet to hash out some of the details of the settlement before going to a judge…who would essentially rubber stamp what they’ve agreed on.
