More than 1,500 white pumpkins, 300 bales of straw, tools and a barn were destroyed just before midnight Friday at The Wild Pumpkin, west of Beaverton. The owners say if not for people passing by and seeing the blaze, things could have been a lot worse. The family living inside was alerted & all got out safely. Fire officials are still investigating the cause.
