Alicia Silverstone says she’s always wanted to have another kid, she’s just been giving it some time. But now that her son Bear is seven years old, she’s ready. Even though she’s not in a relationship with ex-husband Christopher Jarecki anymore, she’s not ruling out picking up the phone and asking him to make it happen.
Silverstone and Bear have always had a very close relationship – they’re even still into the “co-sleeping” thing – but now that he’s “fiercely independent,” she’s considering adding another member to their family. “I have always dreamed of having a little girl,” she says. “But of course I want another little Bear, too. So whatever happens, if it happens, is good by me.”
The actress also admits that even though she’s dating again, her little boy has no idea. Just in case she does find a new beau, she’s already begun to introduce him to the idea of his mom and dad wanting to be with other people. But for now, he just knows that “Mommy and Daddy like to live separately.”
