WILL MT PLEASANT GET A COMMUNITY POOL? THAT WAS ONE OF THE TOPICS AT THE CITY COMMISSION MEETING MONDAY. THE MORNING SUN SAYS city commissioners discussed the possibility of forming a recreation authority in the area. THE IDEA IS THAT THE recreation authority would not have to focus on a pool, but could cover other areas, such as recreation programs and PEAK. The next step will be for the city to contact the township, county and pool group.
