Tab Hunter has died at 86, his longtime partner Allan Glaser has confirmed. His All-American movie star looks made him a heartthrob in his younger years and a gay icon in his golden years. Hunter starred in s slew of films in the 1950’s including “Battle Cry,” “Lafayette Escadrille,” “The Burning Hills,” “They Came to Cordura,” “The Pleasure of His Company,” and more. Hunter reportedly collapsed in his Santa Barbara home and went into cardiac arrest after a blood clot migrated from his leg to his heart. Glaser says medical personnel spent six hours trying to revive him unsuccessfully. He would have turned 87 on Wednesday.
