More Conditions Added For Medical Marijuana Use

THE MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS HAS ADDED NEARLY A DOZEN MEDICAL CONDITIONS TO THE LIST OF AILMENTS TO QUALIFY FOR MEDICAL MARIJUANA IN THE STATE. THEY INCLUDE ARTHRITIS, AUTISM, CHRONIC PAIN, COLITIS, INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE, OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER, PARKINSON’S, RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS, SPINAL CORD INJURIES, TOURETTE’S SYNDROME AND ULCERATIVE COLITIS. HOWEVER, THE DEPARTMENT ALSO DENIED SEVERAL CONDITIONS INCLUDING ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, SCHIZOPHRENIA AND DIABETES.
