Seth Meyers and his wife were on their way to the hospital for the arrival of their second child and called for an Uber ride. Their son, Axel Strahl, instead was born in the lobby of their apartment building, and Uber charged them a cancellation fee of $10. On Seth’s late show, he said that Uber eventually gave him a refund for the cancelled ride and congratulated him on the birth of his son.
