Some of you will soon be paying higher fees than ever for auto insurance while your electric bills may go down. The Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association announced the hike Thursday. It takes the annual fee drivers pay for auto insurance and raises it to $192 per vehicle. Right now, it’s $170 a year.
