An intruder broke into a Mt. Pleasant home, announced he was stealing things then tried to escape through a basement window. Emmanuel Glass, of Troy, was carrying a stolen flag and several garbage bags when he walked into a 22-year-old stranger’s bedroom in a home on Main Street at around 2:23 AM Wednesday. Police were called to the home after the intruder had to use the bathroom.
