An online debate recently argued that Bruno Mars is guilty of cultural appropriation. Well, in case you missed it, now Stevie Wonder is coming to the singer’s defense.
TMZ cameras caught Stevie in Beverly Hills and asked him his thoughts on the subject, and he didn’t mince words.
“Here’s the thing, God created music for all of us to enjoy,” Stevie shares. “So we cannot limit ourselves by people’s fears and insecurities.” Stevie adds, “He’s a great talent, so all the other stuff is just bulls—. He was inspired by great musicians and great artists and songwriters. So it’s cool.”
