Shepherd Public Schools is seeking $25 million for improvements throughout the district, including safety upgrades, new classroom construction and an expansion of extracurricular activities. The proposal would not increase tax rates and would maintain the current rate until 2042. Voters will have the chance to weigh in on the proposal with the Aug. 6 primary election.
