The Annual Kay’s Way supply drive, organized by the Mt. Pleasant Women’s Initiative, is happening now until May 24th. It all goes towards supporting survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as foster children within Isabella County. Named in honor of community champion Kay Krapohl Smith… Donated items and supplies can be dropped off at Krapohl Ford & Lincoln, and Weichert Realtors-Broadway Realty. They’ll then be divided among 3 local nonprofits – the Isabella County Child Advocacy Center, Foster Closet of Isabella County and R.I.S.E. Advocacy. Cash donations are also welcome.

The following is a wish list for each of the agencies:

– The Isabella County Child Advocacy Center: Feminine hygiene products, shampoo, conditioner, styling products, hair accessories, shaving cream, deodorant, snacks, water and gas cards.
-Foster Closet of Isabella County: Underwear, socks, hairbrushes and accessories, feminine hygiene products, duffle bags, backpacks, makeup, nail polish and twin sheet sets.
-R.I.S.E. Advocacy: Twin sheets and comforters, pillows, bath towels, underwear, deodorant, laundry detergent, dish soap and cleaning supplies.
