Gov. Whitmer announced Thursday that Michigan families will receive working families tax credit checks ahead of schedule, starting Mid-February. Checks on average will be around $550. Over 700,000 Michigan households will receive these checks. The new checks are part of $1 billion in tax cuts she signed into law, earlier this year.
