Laws passed this past year will go into effect here in Michigan in just a couple weeks.  The state’s minimum wage law goes into effect on January 1st. The wages will rise from $10.10 an hour to $10.33. The bump up is set by Michigan’s Improved Workforce Opportunity Wage Act.
