A Lansing based food bank that serves Gratiot, Isabella & Clare counties is among recipients of a $15 million effort to assist those living in poverty. The Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Opportunity announced the grant program will distribute awards to 10 large non-profits in the state. Each non-profit selected will receive a one-time grant up to $2 million to create or expand programming that lifts Michiganders out of poverty.
