The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reported yesterday that a woman was killed in a fire at the Cadillac Woods Campground in Highland Township on Saturday. Reports of a camper trailer fire were called in with a person possibly inside. Rescue crewsfound the body of 53 year old Jeanette Marie Whitenton, formerly of Oxford, Michigan. Whitenton was staying at the campground with her husband and had been there approximately a week. Her husband was not in the area at the time of the fire.
