A 13 year old girl died on Saturday in a snowmobile accident on DNR Trail 8 near Hwy M28 in Houghton Co. MSP said she had moved over to allow room for oncoming snowmobile traffic to pass when she was pulled off from the trail by the deep snow. She lost control of the snowmobile & collided with a tree, suffering a serious head injury.
