A Mt Pleasant man who plead guilty to a grisly 1974 murder, will get re-sentenced after the Michigan supreme court ruled that sentences like the one he received are cruel or unusual punishment. 64 year old Delmar Kash Que-zada was sentenced to life in prison in 1976, after pleading guilty to killing 84 year old Hattie Swindlehurst. At the time of the murder he was only 16.
