Robert Wheeler has been named interim chief executive & operating officer of the Mt Pleasant Area Community Foundation, taking over for Amanda Schafer, who tendered her resignation last month. Amanda will wrap up her duties at the end of December. Mr. Wheeler has a 39 year career in local banking & helped create the Community Foundation back in 1990. He will begin working with donors & overseeing operations immediately.
