A Shepherd man will spend at least 19 months behind bars after entering into a plea deal over charges that he beat & raped his girlfriend. 33 year old Damien Lee Gurski was sentenced by Judge Mark Duthie yesterday morning on a charge of assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder. He was given 129 days credit, which means he could leave prison in less than a year.
