Levels of bacteria associated with cramping, vomiting & other ailments are elevated where the Chip River’s northern branch flows into the rivers main branch downstream from Meridian Park. Both the 30-day average & daily sampling turned up much higher levels of E-Coli than is considered safe in that location. The Tribe sponsors regular e-coli testing in the Chip River.
