Yesterday, a Mt Pleasant man was charged with molesting a child relative. 47 year old Cedric Dewond Smith has (2) counts of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, a 15 year felony, and another count for a crime involving a person younger than 13. The incident allegedly occurred on Jan 1st, 2021. He’s scheduled for a hearing on July 28th!
