A Mt. Pleasant man told federal officials he had been abusing multiple drugs including methamphetamine and heroin when he shot and killed his father last year. Jacob Allen Osawabine, originally charged with second degree murder, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in federal court yesterday. Mr. Osawabine had been hallucinating from the mix of drugs that also included cocaine, Xanax, suboxone…and other drugs at the time of the murder.
