Soleil Moon Frye is reflecting on her days of 90s stardom in the new Hulu documentary “Kid 90.” In the new coming-of-age documentary, she talks about her first love, Charlie Sheen, who she briefly dated when she was 18 and he was 27.
The “Punky Brewster” star says Sheen was her first time, and that he made her feel like Carrie Bradshaw in “Sex and the City” – and he was “Mr. Big.” Frye reads a diary entry from December 18th, 1994 about spending the day with Sheen, which she had called “the most strange and incredible day ever.”
“He’s somebody I’ve had a crush on for years. He’s a person that intrigues me and excites me,” she noted. She also tells “USA Today” that Sheen was “really kind” to her and treated her “really beautifully,” continuing to check in and “lend his support” throughout the years after their short-lived relationship.
