Issa Rae will explore the history of Black television in her new project for HBO. “Seen & Heard” will look at the genre from the perspective of people who’ve written, produced, created, and starred in shows aimed at African Americans. At this point, there’s no premiere date in place. However, “Coastal Elites,” issa’s quarantine special about politics and the coronavirus pandemic, will air on September 12th.
