Earlier this month, an explosive audio recording surfaced in which Amber Heard admitted to hitting her ex-husband Johnny Depp. As their $50-million defamation lawsuit rages on, the backlash against Heard has gotten even more intense.
Before the recording was released, there were already an online petition floating around calling for Heard to be fired from her lead role in DC’s “Aquaman” movies and get Depp back in the “Pirates In The Caribbean” franchise. Since the tape got passed around, fans want her fired from more projects.
The latest? A petition on Change.org – two, in fact – to get her booted from her role as a global spokesperson for cosmetics brand L’Oréal – and at last check, both of them have more than 10,000 signatures. As the backlash intensifies, Heard has disabled comments on her Instagram.
