Earlier this month, we reported that Kirk Douglas died at 103. The Hollywood legend was known not only for his work on the big screen, but also his charitable nature behind-the scenes. He supported many causes over the years, something he’s continued even after his passing.

Douglas has given most of his $60-million fortune to charity via the Douglas Foundation, according to “The Mirror.” Donations will go to St. Lawrence University, Westwood’s Sinai Temple, Culver City’s Kirk Douglas Theatre, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, among others.

Not among the recipients of the late legend’s fortune? His son, Michael Douglas. Not that he needs it – as of 2020, Michael’s net worth is estimated at around $300-million.
