“Saturday Night Live” veteran Kenan Thompson was tapped to host the 2020 White House Correspondents Dinner. The annual affair – which takes place on April 25th – will also feature entertainment from Hasan Minhaj of Netflix’s “Patriot Act” fame who hosted in 2017.
Jonathan Karl, chief White House correspondent for ABC News and president of the WHCA said, “Kenan and Hasan are two of the most engaged and engaging entertainers in America. I’m thrilled they’ll help us celebrate the role of a free press in our democracy. We’re looking forward to a lively evening honoring the most important political journalism of the past year.”
President Trump is expected to skip the dinner since he hasn’t attended since he was inaugurated.
