A beloved Clare County physician has passed away.  Dr. Elmer Shurlow, known as “Doc,” died Sunday.  Among many contributions, Doc Shurlow and his first wife Wilma founded the Clare Nursing Home and Clare County Ambulance Co. He was 90.
