Look out for a poisonous caterpillar in central Michigan. The American Dagger caterpillar may look fuzzy and cute but it’s advised you don’t pick it up, it can cause stinging and itchy rashes. It is 2 inches long and is covered in bright yellow-green bristles. Some were sighted in Clare County recently.
