TMZ reports that the Labor Day weekend crash Hart was in left him with three spinal fractures. An insider tells the tabloid that the surgery the actor/comedian had involved fusing the fractures. Two were in his thoracic spine and one in the lumbar (lower back),
He’s lucky not to be paralyzed, as lumbar injuries can lead to difficulties walking or worse. Hart’s expected to make a full recovery, but it will take months to get there.
