Fans are a little confused after watching “Good Morning Britain” co-host Piers Morgan attempt to interview Mickey Rourke. The boxer/actor appeared on the daytime show to promote his new movie “Night Walk” on Monday, and the hosts seemed like they were having a hard time getting a clear answer out of him.

Kicking off the interview, Morgan asked Rourke how it felt to come out of a decade-long career lull and be “back on top.” Rourke spent the next few minutes going on a tangent about meeting with his psychiatrist, and the story of how he met the director of his Oscar-nominated comeback movie “The Wrestler.” Eventually, Morgan cut him off to try and ask Rourke the original question again.

Not to mention, Rourke was sporting some interesting get-up, too. He was sitting with a dog on his lap, decked out in a cowboy hat, a walking stick, and an open shirt exposing his chest tattoos. The Twitterverse has called the interview everything from “bonkers” to “toe-curling,” although there are a few fans who are defending Rourke as the “most purely gifted actor of his generation.”
