Meghan Markle is passionate about rescue dogs – remember, she’s a Royal patron of the animal welfare charity the Annual Review of Mayhew. So when it comes to choosing a furry friend for baby Archie, she’s going with adoption.
She and Harry already have two rescues at home, a Labrador puppy along with Markle’s beloved beagle Guy, but they want their son to grow up with his own rescue pooch.
“Meghan really wants a dog with whom Archie can associate his childhood,” says a Royal source. “She hopes they strike up an incredible bond and Archie can make plenty of memories.”
