• Johnny Depp’s attorney has denied Amber Heard’s claims
  • The actress is accused of being the abuser, and of admitting to her own abuse in her deposition
  • Heard’s abuser says the actress is being gaslit by Depp’s camp

We previously reported that Amber Heard hit back at Johnny Depp’s$50 million defamation suit with a deposition detailing multiple alleged instances of domestic abuse and even a death threat. She’s filed to have the suit dismissed. But Depp’s lawyer shot down her claims over the weekend, doubling down on the actor’s version of events that Heard’s the abuser.

“The only way for Amber Heard to sustain her hoax is to shift to new lies – she grudgingly admitted in her deposition to multiple instances of violence against Mr. Depp, including: throwing a can of paint thinner into his head in front of witnesses, punching him in the face, and kicking a door into his head,” the lawyer said. “This is a fraction of the cataloged violence and other abuse Mr. Depp has suffered.”

Heard’s attorney says that Depp’s camp is just “gaslighting” her “by denying his abuse.” “Since their divorce, Mr. Depp has continued to publicly harass Ms. Heard, it is long past time for Mr. Depp’s despicable conduct to end,” reads a statement. “IT is regrettable that it will take a judge to finally end the persistent harassment of Ms. Heard by Mr. Depp, but [she] will take whatever action is necessary to vindicate the truth.”

  • ONE MORE THING! Elon Musk has officially been dragged into the legal battle. He’s been subpoenaed in the lawsuit along with “other witnesses,” accused of “assisting” in her so-called “hoax.” At least, that’s what Depp’s attorney says is happening… but a “source” claims “Elon has not received anything.”
  • BUT WAIT… THERE’S MORE! All the while, Warner Bros is apparently “freaking out” over the fate of their “Harry Potter” franchise. As you’ll recall, Depp’s role “Fantastic Beasts” has been an issue for some fans for a minute now. But with Heard’s new court docs, the studio is worried about backlash from their own employees, especially after CEO Kevin Tsujihara’s exit due to sexual misconduct. “High-level female execs at the studio are extremely worried about working with Depp and the message it sends to the public,” a source tells Page Six.“This is yet another blow to the morale of female employees at the studio.”
