Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is opening a home for abused girls in Bartlett, Tennessee.
The name of the home is called Janie’s House after the Aerosmith song “Janie’s Got A Gun,” which is about a girl getting revenge on her abusive father. The home will shelter up to 30 girls a year and provide therapy for victims of abuse. The first Janie’s House opened in 2017 in Atlanta.
The “scarf cutting” ceremony to open the home was attended by Tyler. The home is a renovated Youth Villages facility.
