A teaching assistant at New Campus School, in Traverse City, is accused of assaulting a 7-year-old student. She turned herself in and now faces an assault and battery charge. An investigation into a situation with Darci Henderson started back in November. She’s now facing up to 93 days in jail if convicted of what a teacher says she saw Henderson do to the child.
