Gratiot County’s animal shelter is waiting on results from water testing. Water was taken by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality for testing from the well outside the shelter near Ithaca. The reason? PFA’s may be in the ground or in the water due to a Wolverine Worldwide plant being located right behind the shelter at one time.
