With secret weddings being all the rage this year, you can now count Michelle Williams in that number. The actress and her indie-rocker boyfriend, Phil Elverum, said, “I do,” earlier this month in upstate New York. Only a handful of friends and their kids, her 12-year-old daughter, Matilda, and his three-year-old daughter Agathe, were in attendance. One thing that bonds them is their shared loss. Matilda’s father, Heath Ledger, died at age 28 in 2008. Elverum’s wife, Geneviève Castrée, died of pancreatic cancer in 2016, when their daughter was an infant. Congratulations to the happy couple.
