The National Fair Housing Alliance on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against Asset Campus Housing Inc., which manages Copper Beech Townhomes in Mt. Pleasant. The rental company denied a couple with a child from renting a two-bedroom townhome because company policy would not allow three people in the townhome. The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination based on familial status.
