A Canadian student who was enrolled at Ferris State University has been accused of sexual assault. Darren Smith, was charged with 3 counts of 1st degree, sex crimes. Court records show the alleged assault happened on July 8th, off campus, with a fellow Ferris State student. He’s due back in court next week for a hearing.
