Clare County deputies say a man beat a 78-year-old homeowner while breaking into his home, then assaulted arresting deputies, then two corrections officers at the jail. Clare County deputies say they arrested Curtis White from Benzonia around 11:30 Tuesday night after being called to a home on Main Street in Farwell. White’s now facing a whole slew of assault charges for the attacks.
