Jim Carrey is getting some bad reviews for his painting of a woman who appears to be White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.
The painting Carrey put up on Twitter over the weekend was far from flattering and neither was the accompanying tweet. The painting shows a scowling, open-mouthed, dark-haired woman. The tweet that doesn’t name Sanders read, “This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only purpose in life is to lie for the wicked. Monstrous!”
Responses included calling the actor’s painting disgraceful and sarcastically calling it an example of Hollywood’s empowerment of women.
The actor followed it with a painting of Donald Trump as a witch and dubbed it “The Wicked Witch Of The West Wing and Putin’s Flying Monkeys.”
