“Heathers” Reboot Is Being Delayed – The “Heathers” television reboot is getting pushed back in the wake of the mass shooting in Parkland, Florida.
Paramount Network has delayed the show based on the 80s film of the same name out of respect for the victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting and their families. The film focuses on a teenager who intentionally kills students at his school that he doesn’t like.
The series, which focuses on subjects like gun violence, race and social status, was set to premiere March 7th. The network said in a statement it still stands behind the show.
