Healthcare facilities in three southwest Michigan counties have been notified by the state that workers may have been in close contact with a healthcare worker diagnosed with tuberculosis. The worker, who unknowingly was ill with TB at the time, may have been in contact with more than 600 individuals in two hospitals in Washtenaw, Livingston and Oakland counties between May 1, 2017 and Jan. 31, 2018.
