The National Rifle Association used a GIF from the show Parks and Recreation in a recent tweet, and the cast and crew are not happy about it. The show’s creator, Michael Shur, responded to the NRA on Twitter, saying: “Hi, please take this down. I would prefer you not use a gif from a show I worked on to promote your pro-slaughter agenda.” Cast member Nick Offerman also voiced his distaste on Twitter, saying: “Our good-hearted show and especially our Leslie Knope represent the opposite of your pro-slaughter agenda. Take it down and also please eat s***.”
