Earlier this week a report suggested Blake Shelton was going to be “People’s” Sexiest Man Alive and now it’s official. Blake tweeted the cover of the mag along with the caption, “Thank you @people!!!! Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful… “
As for how he feels about the honor, Blake tells the mag his first thought was, “That y’all must be running out of people,” adding, “Like, Wow, we’re down to somebody who is somewhat symmetrical.”
Blake says girlfriend Gwen Stefani convinced him to embrace the title, telling him, “You’ll regret this for the rest of your life if you don’t take this gift and just live in the moment.”
- Plus it has a major added bonus in that he can rub it in Adam Levine’s face. “I can’t wait to shove this up Adam’s a**,” Blake adds. “As proud as I am and honored that you guys asked me, that’s really the only thing I care about.”
