Sean Hayes was supposed to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Showtwo weeks ago, but didn’t. Turns out it was due to a health scare, and he was on the show yesterday talking about it.
The “Will & Grace” star said he woke up with an excruciating pain in his stomach. “I had a very rare thing where my small intestines burst open and it was poisoning my body,” he explained. He went to the emergency room, and ended up having surgery. “They went in there and clipped off the bad part and put it back together…with like a chip clip.”
Sean says he called the Ellen’s producer from the hospital while he was high on drugs. “She was so nice and we’re going through all the stuff and she said, ‘Are you sure you can do the show on Monday?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, can you do the show on Monday?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah, I work here!’ And I’m like, ‘Fine biatch.’” Judging from his appearance, he’s fine.
